Photography, with direction.

A practice loop you can actually follow: learn a small thing, deliberately use it, review the result, then move forward.

30 seconds

When you notice a potential photo: move, inspect edges/background, try another height or angle, identify what interests you, then shoot.

Long-term roadmap

Sequential enough to give direction, flexible enough that photography does not become homework. Each stage has short reminders and practical exercises.

How to use it: work roughly top to bottom. “Concept” means you can recognize it in your own photos. “Exercise” means you actually went out and did it. A stage checkpoint tells you what competence should feel like before you treat that stage as mostly done.

Before the shutter: move around, inspect edges/background, try another height or angle, and say to yourself what makes this scene worth photographing.
